Compaction Wheels for Pipeline Projects
Pipeline construction, installation, maintenance, repair, and upgrade projects often require the use of compaction wheels in the trenches that the pipes are installed within. Trenches with loose soil are less likely to withstand the massive gas and water pipes, or the conduits of renewable energy projects, than trenches of compacted soil. Using a compaction wheel on these trenches also ensures the bed that the pipe will rest on is even, and any loose rock can be identified and removed to prevent damage to the pipe.
